Constitution Hill with Anti-Apartheid Activist, Alan Fine
In 1980, Alan Fine was imprisoned in Constitution Hill's Old Fort Prison. He was convicted of treason by the apartheid government for his anti-apartheid activism and involvement with the ANC.

SAUJS (the South African Union of Jewish Students) organised a tour with Alan on the 3rd of March 2019.
He took us around the Old Fort prison, where he was held in one of the isolation cells.
He spoke about his experience, and told us a few funny anecdotes of the enigmatic characters he encountered in the prison. It was incredible to be exposed to a first-hand account of the experience.
